English Language Day: April 23 every year

April 23, Birth as well as death anniversary of William Shakespeare, one of the greatest writers of the English language. It was first established in the year 2010 by the United Nations (UN)'s Department of Global Communications.

The motive for establishing language days, one of which is observed on April 23 every year as the English Language Day is to celebrate diverse cultures through languages and promote multilingualism.

With additional languages you can communicate in, you get additional know-how of multiple cultures, additional ways to think, additional touch points with diverse people.

Celebrating diversity gives more reasons to give love, get love and feel loved.

April 23, English Language Day also the Language day for Spanish (Español).
