Global Warming

GLOBAL WARMING 

Not just a single place, not just a city, a country, a continent,

The Earth is collective of them all.

Not just the land surfaces and not only the sea waters,

It’s all we call our “HOME”

It’s not the Earth’s model Globe,

And not the Sun’s warmth causing the Global Warming

It was there in the past, But causes, impact were less known

It is prevailing in the present

And is expected to continue in the future

With impact uncertain.

It was not the past’s Warmth

The Earth is still heating up,

Still warming and still warning

But, we are not waking up.

We are snoozing the alarm.

Defying the dawn won’t stop afternoon from arriving.

What we know on Earth as not man-made

Are the land and the waters

All now heating up by us.

We still get a wake-up call every single morning,

It’s time to wake up, It’s time to answer

It’s time to deal with global warming

Else, soon all will see only mourning.
